M.O.R.S. OUTLAW STREET 275/ 8.5

BODY:

Fiberglass/Carbon body panels are limited to hood, rear deck lid, fenders, doors, and bumpers.

INTERIOR:

Aftermarket steering columns are allowed. Factory type dash accepted. Must have carpet.

ELECTRICAL:

Optical devices are prohibited. All entries must have operational head lights and tail lights.

ENGINE:

Aftermarket blocks and cylinder heads are allowed. All entries must utilize a single carburetor cast intake manifold. Motor plates and solid mounts are allowed. Engine must be in stock location. Mufflers are required on all vehicles (except turbocharged combos). All SB power adder engines are limited to 440 cubic inches. SB N/A up to 480 cubic inch permitted ,BB N/A limited to 632, and BB Nitrous limited to 540.  Any engine in question will be measured with a P&G gauge. A correction factor of 1.5% will be used. Competitors may be asked to remove a cylinder head for bore and stroke measurements should any discrepancies arise.

INDUCTION:

* all combos must use a "Commercially available/mass produced cast intakes only".

POWER ADDERS:

Progressive nitrous controllers are allowed. Entries must utilize a single stage nitrous plate with one nitrous, one fuel and one redundant purge solenoid

Turbocharged (mid frame turbo only,  no GT55 based turbos) limited up to a 80mm Maximum inlet size (no reducers of any kind are allowed) Cast or Billet Wheel Allowed

Supercharged entries are limited F1C or YSI or smaller,  no reducers allowed of any kind are allowed

TRANSMISSION:

Any OEM style automatic or OEM manual transmission is allowed with power adder. Clutch assisted/clutchless manual transmission allowed on N/A only.

REAR SUSPENSION:

Stock type rear suspension or ladder bar only. Coil over shocks are allowed. Anti-roll allowed. Aftermarket replacement control arms are allowed. Stock frame rails must be in factory location, notching permitted.

FRONT SUSPENSION:

Factory type front suspension only. Coil over shocks are allowed. Aftermarket replacement control arms are allowed. Aftermarket K-Members/Sub-Frames allowed.

WHEELS/TIRES:

MT 28 x 12.50 ET Street or Mickey Thomson Tire P/N 3754R radial tire or 26x8.5 slicks- May have Mickey Thompson(3052) or Hoosier (18115C11

 Wheel/Rim width is limited to 12"

NITROUS WEIGHTS:

SB – 3100

BB – 3300 (Conventional Headed only, max 540 cu in, limited to #73 jet with no trash can solenoids allowed)

SUPERCHARGER WEIGHTS:

F1A – 3100   

F1C – 3150

F1C-10.5 - 3250      

YSI – 3150

Twin Screw Supercharger: Maximum size is 4.0L - 3300

TURBO WEIGHTS:

T-76  - 3150

T-80 - 3200

GENERAL:

Alcohol/E85 legal (meth injection legal on boosted combos only without air to water intercooler only). All turbochargers  and superchargers must be as manufactured from factory No muffler required on turbo entry, required on all other combos

No wheelie bars allowed.

Gear driven supercharger allowed

V6 entries deduct 200lb

Deduct 50 lbs for engines with less than 365 cu in

M.O.R.S. OUTLAW PRO 275/ 28 – 10.5

Chassis:

* Complete stock chassis and front frame rails must be retained from motor plate/shock tower to behind the rear wheel opening.

* All aftermarket front suspension components allowed.

* All replacement parts must be in stock location.

* Aftermarket bolt-on replacement front K-members/sub frames are allowed (if front shocks bolt to the K-member, they must be in the factory location).

* Mini tubs allowed

* Anti-sway bars allowed.

* Rear leaf springs, springs, shocks, and coil-overs may be moved to accommodate tire clearance, and do not need to be mounted in stock location.

* Stock suspension, ladder bar, and torque arm only.

* Absolutely no wheelie bars.

* Factory wheel base must be maintained.

 Interior/Body:

* Factoring appearing (aftermarket parts are allowed) interior is required.

* Unaltered floor pan. Floor may be altered for thru the floor sub-frame connectors, trans tunnel etc.

* Firewall must be in stock location minor modifications for trans, etc. are fine.

* Head-lights and tail-lights must work.

* Fiberglass limited to doors, fenders, hood, trunk lid, and bumpers.

* No extenders or stripe takers

* Lexan allowed, must maintain factory appearance.

Engine:

* Maximum displacement for all engines is 650c.i.

* Small blocks are allowed any deck height, but must remain stock bore spacing.

* GM Big Blocks are limited to 10.2 deck height.

* Ford Big Blocks are limited to 10.3 deck height.

* Mopar Big Blocks are limited to 10.7 deck height.

Transmission: * Any transmission permitted.

 

Turbochargers:

 

* Single turbocharger limited to SB/94mm

* Turbo size will be verified by measuring the housing bore at the leading edge of the impeller wheel and must maintain the contour of the compressor housing.

* The maximum diameter of the housing bore at the leading edge of the wheel may not exceed 2mm more than the maximum allowable.

* Turbo with slots/surge holes do not have to be covered. 

* Inserts or reducers to achieve inlet or outlet dimensions are prohibited.

* Any type of air to air or water to air intercooler is permitted.

* Turbochargers with nitrous oxide is permitted only on 2-rotor, 4 cylinder, and inline 6 cylinder engines.

* Water/ meth injection legal only on boosted combo’s not utilizing an air to water intercooler

 

 

 

Superchargers:

 

* Cog or gear driven superchargers are permitted, must meet all factory inlet, outlet, and internal housing dimensions.

* Any type of air to air or water to air intercooler is permitted.

* Inserts or reducers to achieve inlet or outlet dimensions are Not Permitted.

* F-1R / XI (billet and non-billet) allowed – see below for weights

* F-2 / F1-X / F2X-12 / F1X-12A / XB-105 allowed - see below for weights

* F-2R is not legal.

* Water/ meth injection legal only on boosted combo’s not utilizing an air to water intercooler

* Cannot combine the supercharger with nitrous.

* Centrifugal superchargers are permitted.

 

Nitrous (General Rules):

* Multiple bottles, must Y together to a single #6 line.

* Push nitrous systems are prohibited.

 

Small Block Nitrous:

* Permitted to run any multi-stage nitrous system.

Big Block Nitrous:

* Single stage Nitrous kits, #6 Nitrous line maximum

* Electronic Fuel Injection allowed only 8 nitrous feed lines on engine.

* Two Stage Plate allowed.

 

Exhaust:

 

* Mufflers or inserts are required on all cars except for turbo cars.

* Exhaust may exit underneath car or out the front fenders, but must not affect timing or staging beams.

* Forward facing exhaust must have upward facing bull horns.

Fuel:

* Gasoline, Alcohol or E-85 is allowed.

* Alcohol must adhere to a 50 lbs. weight penalty.

* Water/ meth injection legal only on boosted combo’s not utilizing an air to water intercooler

Tires:

 

* All cars must compete on a Drag Radial type tire with the following sidewall designation 275/60/15 or 28-10.5 Slick   No “W” Tire Permitted

Weight Deductions & Additions:

Add 50 lbs for Alcohol

Deduct 50 lbs for any belt driven supercharger

Deduct 50 lbs for inline head

Deduct 100 lbs for Mod Motor

Add 100 lbs for F1X-12 or F1X-12A

Deduct 200 lbs for F1R- XI (Non billet wheel) – 10.71 or smaller supercharger

Add 150 lbs for XI with billet wheel (i.e. 3250 lbs)

Deduct 50 lbs for 91 mm turbo

Deduct 100 lbs for 88 mm turbo

Deduct 150 lbs for 85 mm turbo

Deduct 50 lbs for leaf spring suspension

Deduct 100 lbs for engines smaller than 365 cu in (all combinations except mod motors)

Deduct 100 lbs for all SB & BB Nitrous entries that are using a single 4-barrel  “as cast” intake manifold

Deduct 250 lbs for front wheel drive vehicle

Deduct 300 lbs for inline 6 cyl  (all combos)

Deduct 150 lbs for v-6 (all combos)

 

 NO BOOSTED BIG BLOCKS ALLOWED

SINGLE POWER ADDERS ONLY
